Creation of Digital Terrain Model of the specified part of Jedovnice lokality
Klusák, Petr ; Kuruc, Michal (referee) ; Kalvoda, Petr (advisor)
The aim of my master’s thesis was to createa digital terrain model (DTM). The assigned data were to be processed, updated, unified and subsequently used to create a purpose map on the scale of 1:500. The selected area issituated near the village of Jedovnice; to be more specific, the area includes a meadow located along the Podomský rivulet and the adjacent forest. To create the purpose map, the MicroStation software was used (version V8). Furthermore, the Atlas DTM software (version 4)was used to create the digital terrain model, colour hypsometry and an exposure map and finally, the AutoCAD software (student version 2013) was used for visualizing and matching objects with textures.

The goal of this thesis was to evaluate whether it is possible to replace gravimetric data with topographic ones for calculating quasigeoid models using astrogeodetic levelling. Gravimetric data are not of sufficient quality in selected areas, hence their replacement can increase the accuracy of obtained models. The computational program PRVAK was created. It facilitates the calculation of the quasigeoid model by astrogeodetic levelling, the models can be calculated on a profile or in an area by least square adjustment of conditional observations from astrogeodetic deflections of the vertical or their combination with topographic ones. Furthermore, the Dolní Morava network was built, with astrogeodetic deflections of the vertical determined at 34 points. The data comparisons were tested at three localities, where quasigeoid models were calculated by astrogeodetic and astrotopographic levelling and compared with reference data. On the profile Velká Bíteš – Brno – Uherské Hradiště, the calculated models were compared with the gravimetric model calculated by Research Institute of Geodesy, Cartography and Topography. The standard deviation of the differences between the reference model and the models calculated in this work was reduced using astrotopographic levelling by approximately 38 % compared to astrogeodetic levelling. For area models of quasigeoid in the localities of Dolní Morava and Brno, it was possible to compare the internal accuracy of these models. When using astrotopographic levelling, values of standard deviation of height anomalies were reduced by 40 % in Dolní Morava locality and 25 % in Brno locality compared to astrogeodetic levelling. In both localities, the quasigeoid QGZÚ-2013 was chosen as a reference model for comparison of external accuracy. The contribution of astrogeodetic levelling to the improvement of external accuracy could not be demonstrated because the calculated models of quasigeoid have similar accuracy as the reference model.
Možnosti tvorby digitálního modelu terénu v GIS
PLIC, Vítězslav
This bachelor's thesis aims to understand the various possibilities of creating digital models in ArcGIS. The aim of this work was to compare DTM created by different methods of data collection and to compare different interpolation techniques for a selected area. In the theoretical part, a literature research was created, which aimed to approach the creation of digital models. The work outlined the acquisition of background data for the creation of DTM, various methods of modelling, and finally, an overview of interpolation methods used in GIS. In the practical part, a part of the cadastral area of Třísov was used to create a DTM. Digital models were created from data obtained by digitization of the map work ZM 10 and geodetic survey. Further, a comparison of interpolation methods was performed on several digital models created from the same input data (geodetic point layer). The conclusion of this work is a comparison of individual methods of creation and interpolation with a raster calculator and evaluation of the most suitable interpolation method for this model.
Soil and terrain changes as a result of increased erosion and accumulation processes in selected locations
Votýpka, Jan ; Šefrna, Luděk (advisor) ; Zádorová, Tereza (referee)
Soil and terrain changes as a result of increased erosion and accumulation processes in selected locations Abstract Colluvial soils are formed in areas with increased intensity of soil erosion. Colluvial soils originate as a result of their position in terrain, they are usually found in places where has accumulated erosion material. Very often they are to be found at the around of slopes. Their accumulation horizon is deeper than 25 cm with a great amount of organic carbon buried in it. In my diploma thesis I will attempt to take a closer look at three locations, each having different types of dominant soils. The aim of this diploma thesis is to rebuild the original shape of the terrain before the beginning of the soil erosion process. Keywords: colluvial soil, soil erosion, soil accumulation, land use, digital terrain model (DTM)
